Are you a Veteran?
You’ll be eligible for a Veterans Railcard providing you have served for at least one day or more in His Majesty’s UK Armed Forces (Regular or Reserve). UK Merchant Mariners who have seen duty on legally defined military operations are also eligible.
You can buy a Railcard from anywhere in the world, although we can only delivery plastic Railcards to addresses in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
The Railcard can be used to get discounts on rail travel in England, Wales and Scotland.

*Please note: MOD Form 90 cards cannot be reissued.
Name change
If the name on your eligibility documents is different from the name you now use, you will need to upload proof of this name change as part of the online application. Acceptable documents are Marriage Certificate, Divorce Certificate or Deed Poll documents.
Other Railcards
If you do not qualify for a Veterans Railcard, you may qualify for one of our other Railcards:
- 16-25 Railcard - For anyone aged 16 to 25, or in full time study.
- 26-30 Railcard - For anyone aged 26 to 30.
- Senior Railcard - For anyone aged 60 or over.
- Family & Friends Railcard - For anyone travelling with one child, or more.
- Two Together Railcard - For two named adults travelling together.
- Network Railcard - For travel in the South East of England
- Disabled Persons Railcard - For anyone who has a disability that makes travelling by train difficult.
- 16-17 Saver - For anyone aged 16 or 17.
